X-ray Absorption Facility for CAtalysis Research (XAFCA)

Date : 12 Dec 2011 - 12 Dec 2011

Opening of X-ray Absorption Facility for CAtalysis Research (XAFCA) and Application of Synchrotron based Techniques for Catalysis and Materials Workshop

Along with the NUS Singapore Synchrotron Light Source (SSLS), ICES is setting up a dedicated X-ray Absorption Facility for CAtalysis Research (XAFCA) to perform advanced research on catalysis, materials science, and related disciplines. XAFCA is expected to become a new hub for synchrotron-based research on catalysis and materials in Singapore. Synchrotron-based techniques have an impressive record of applications in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental science, materials science, and particularly in catalysis.
